Nice looking crib that is sturdy. Easy enough to assemble. Does not fit through standard single doorways when fully assembled. Difficult to find the bed rail conversion kit in the matching color (slate) in Canada and Child craft does not ship to Canada unfortunately.

We have had our baby’s crib for almost 2 years now. It is a nice crib and has served us well thus far. I do remember when we first got it I was also surprised at how dark the ‘slate’ color was but we didn’t mind. I knew ahead of time that the crib extensions accessories were extra costs which I also wasn’t thrilled about. I feel if you are going to market the crib as a 4 in 1 it should in fact have the ability to do that. We transitioned our son into the toddler bed after purchasing the toddler rail from child craft directly. We went to assemble the toddler rail and our Sheldon crib had extra pieces it needed to accommodate the toddler rail that were in the original packaging/hardware kit we got with the crib 2 years ago. Here is why I would not recommend child craft. When I tried to return the rail I was aware, as stated in their policy, that I would be responsible for shipping the item back if I would like to return it. I have done this before with companies and usually they will send a label and then whatever the shipping cost was is taken out of your final refund. Child craft does not do that (and ‘cannot do that’). I went to multiple places and shipping for the most basic service was between $50-$81 for a $80 (I paid $70 with their coupon) toddler rail. When I contacted customer service (multiple times 3 of the times my voicemails went unanswered) I was told their automated system does not allow for them to complete returns that way. I mentioned to them that they sell on Amazon and I can get free returns if I order through them, they assured me that it was a mistake that they were currently working on fixing. Overall not excited about my customer service experience or how child craft conducts their business. My $279 ‘4 in 1’ crib actually costs $519 and I have a toddler rod I don’t need and if I ship it back will only get a 29% return on.
We’re expecting again in September and will not be purchasing a child craft or any of its affiliate products.
